Ulao Creek was once a pristine spring creek that supported a diverse wetland. Before the area was altered by decades of development, it provided an important spawning area for large numbers of Northern Pike from the Milwaukee River.

There will be machinery onsite to help move the larger trees into place. Some shovels and small tools will be provided to help plant the smaller tree and shrub stock, but if you can bring any shovels or spades, that would be appreciated. We will also be installing protective cages around the trees and shrubs.

Matt Aho the Program Manager for the Ozaukee County Planning and Parks Department will be leading this workday. We're offering our support and will be providing lunch for the entire group.

Please join us and meet other like-minded people while helping improve a watershed in our area!

...and don't forget to RSVP to rayweiss@wi.rr.com so we can properly plan the food.
