Onion River Workday this Saturday, 8 a.m.!
 

We have scheduled the September 11th workday with our friends at Lakeshore TU. The work will be done on the Onion River in Sheboygan County, south of County Highway U. Please see the map below. (Quick tip: If you are coming north on I-43, go north on HWY 57 and west on County HWY U. Look for the work trailers.) Lakeshore will commence work at 8 AM, but get there when you can.

We will be working with the DNR to install the 2x8x8 decking for bank covers. Lakeshore would greatly appreciate some help on this project.

We won’t need much for tools, but a few hand sledgehammers would be great. If we get enough people, we might install some coir logs and brush bundles also, but we will see about that. Also, bring your waders just in case.

Lakeshore is providing lunch and drinks, so RSVPs are important.
