The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel Sport Show will be held at State Fair Park from March 4th through March 8.  We’re excited that SEWTU will once again have a booth at the show.  The show attracts thousands of people so we’ll be able to promote Trout Unlimited goals and sell raffle tickets for our Annual Spring Raffle to a very large audience.  (This year, our raffle prizes will include a $1000 gift card for Cabela’s, a fly rod and reel outfit and a spinning rod and reel outfit.)

The Sport Show will run from noon until 8pm on Wednesday through Friday, 10am until 8pm on Saturday, March 7 and 10am until 5pm on Sunday.  We’d like to have 3 or 4 people manning the booth throughout the show so we can sure use your help- as they say, “many hands make light work”.  Normally we hope to have enough people that booth shifts are only 2 or 3 hours- so there’s plenty of time to visit the show, too.  Please take a look at your schedules and let us know if you’ll be able help.  You don’t have to be an expert- only willing to talk about our cold water conservation work and fishing!

For any of you fly tyers, in addition to tying at our SEWTU booth, you can also help Bob Haase at his booth, teaching fly tying to youngsters.  As in the case of our SEWTU booth, Bob particularly can use help on the weekdays.
