12/17 - SEWTU Holiday Party

We have a lot of exciting things on tap for our annual SEWTU Holiday Party on Dec. 17th at Crawdaddy's on Greenfield. In addition to our usual raffles, food drive, and gift exchange, we will once again be having a fly fishing gear raffle including some donated high-quality fly rods and reels along with some other surprises.

Holiday Gear Raffle and Food Drive

Please bring nonperishable food items along for our annual food drive. For each item donated, you will receive a raffle ticket to our holiday gear raffle featuring some fly rods and reels and other can’t miss items! It’s a great way to get in the holiday spirit. 

SEWTU Trip Package #1 - Calling for Nominations for a Youth/ Adult Mentored Fishing Trip
SEWTU is also offering a great opportunity for a mentored adult/youth day of trout fishing with a shore lunch in the Driftless with Jim Folda and Rick Larkin for the 2025 trout season. This trip will be made available at the Chapter's Holiday Party on December 17th, 2024. A parent, grandparent, child, grandchild, or any adult/youth combination you can think of would qualify. Winners are responsible for their transportation and the date and location will be mutually agreed upon with Jim and Rick. Fly rods, flies, and casting instructions will also be available. Jim and Rick have extensive Driftless experience and will provide the best fishing opportunity available for the date you pick. The deadline for the drawing will be December 16th, prior to the December Chapter Holiday Party on December 17th, 2024 at Crawdaddy's restaurant on 94th and Greenfield in West Allis.

Calling all trout travelers!
We are looking for some short, roughly 10 to 15 slide Power Point travelogues from  any recent trip you took to show as part of our Holiday celebration. Holiday Gift Exchange 

We will once again be hosting our holiday gift exchange. Gift exchange rules - for those wanting to participate, bring a wrapped, fishing related gift. Please keep gifts near $20 price range. Gifts will be randomly distributed between participants. It’s a great way to get to know fellow TU members.
