We will have some rods available for anyone who wants to give fly casting a try. Our famous SEWTU Bratwurst, cold drinks, and chips will be available also. Bring a chair and join us for a fun Summer event.

August 16th - 18th - SEWTU Drifltess Mentored and Social Fishing Weekend at the West Fork Sports Club on the West Fork of the Kickapoo River.

Come join SEWTU for our third annual Drifltess Mentored and Social Fishing Weekend at the West Fork Sports Club on the weekend of August 16th through the 18th at the west Fork Sports Club on County Highway S approximately 3.5 miles north of Highway 56 between Lafarge and Viroqua in the heart of Wisconsin's Driftless Region.

This is a casual weekend of camping, trout fishing, and social fun with a campfire and a BYO BBQ on Saturday night featuring a Wisconsin charcuterie board or two. There will also be a prize for the best fish story of the day so practice up!

We are camping on the south end of the campground, so look for the SEWTU banners. There is a small fee for camping and firewood. Non-campers can find an assortment of lodging in nearby Viroqua or in some of the area's VRBO's. There are also two small rental cabins at the WFSC that can be reserved. Check their website.

The casual fishing starts after coffee on Saturday where, if you want, you can pair up with a chapter volunteer who can show you one of the many Driftless trout streams. I's August, so think hoppers and headwaters!

If you are attending, please email me (ricklarkin76@gmail.com) so I can get a rough head count.
