In July, 2006, SEWTU aided the Boy Scouts of America, and helped clean the Fox River as it runs through Brookfield, Wisconsin.  Members entered the water, removed debris, and helped open the stream to floaters of all types.

A great time was had, a good connection made with the Scouts, and a river improved.
